Picking the best facial for your desired skin results!

We currently offer 5 different types of facial and picking the right one for you can be confusing, so we've pulled together this guide to help you decide which is best for you. But we'd always recommend trying a few different types to work out which feels best for you skin and is most active and gives you the best results.

De-stress & rejuvenate (60mins £58) This facial has been designed to relax the body and mind. We gentle products to relax the skin and oils made bespoke for The Bothy and to aid relaxation. It's an hour of pure bliss and will rejuvenate the skin & mind. But the benefits of oil & massage on the facial area will ensure that you leave The Bothy with a healthy glow & clear mind.

Bespoke (30mins £34 or 60mins £54) This facial is just as the name says & designed completely around your skin type and desired result. We use products most suited for your skin, a steamer to deep cleanse the skin and technologies (such as micro-current) to push the products deeper into the skin. You'll also be given a deep exfoliation to ensure that your skin cells are encourage to regenerate and over the next 4 weeks you'll feel the lasting effects of healthy skin. As part of this facial you'll also receive massage of the shoulders, chest & a hand and arm massage too. The Bespoke facial has been designed to be a regular part of your skincare routine and we recommend you have a Bespoke facial every 4-8 weeks in order to maintain healthy skin & prevent on-going damage.

LED light therapy (£28 or £15 if included with another facial)

Our LED facial is non-invasive and has minimal side effects. The LED light used as part of the treatment has been proven to stimulate collagen production, improve skin texture and also to act as an anti-inflammatory (e.g. in acne and rosacea). The light is capable of penetrating the skin up to 10mm and once absorbed, changes into cellular energy which stimulates the skins natural cellular processes and creates new cell growth and healing.

Express bio peel (£38 30mins) Our Express bio peel uses our highest strength products, including glycolic acid. Which is placed on the skin in layers so the therapist can assess how much product to use based on your skins sensitivity. Up to 3 layers are used and left for short period of time on the skin for their exfoliating effect. Peels are great for changing the surface of the skin and if your concerns are around uneven skin tone, pigmentation and fine lines. The acid used is gentle enough that there's no down time post treatment, but strong enough that you'll have smoother, less pigmented skin, as the top layer of skin comes away. Your skin will be more sensitive to sunlight and whilst we always recommend using a high SPF cream each day, we would recommend that you're extra careful in the sun post treatment.

Expert Active (£65 or £320 for 6)

This powerful treatment (the most powerful we offer) uses LED & micro-current technologies, plus a combination of high strength products from the Bio peel range, to give you the best results. This facial is deeply hydrating and you'll leave The Bothy with glowing and healthy looking skin, making it the perfect facial to have before an event or as part of a block of treatments for more lasting effects.

We begin by lowering the PH of the skin (to increase the efficacy of the serums and acids) We then use 4 serums as part of the treatment, including 1% retinol, hyaluronic, niacinomide (anti acne), oligopeptide (anti pigmentation), we push the serums deeper into skin using micro-current technology and then you'll be placed under the LED light therapy machine to increase the efficacy of the products. Thereby encouraging the simulation of new collagen and cells under the Epidermis (first level of skin).

We'd love to talk to you about your skin & how our facials can help you to achieve your best skin! Call us on 01904 629121, or email on revive@thebothywellness.co.uk.
