Lymphatic Drainage Madedrotherapy Massage

Lymphatic drainage contour technique is tailored to every client’s needs. A combination of lymphatic drainage techniques, Maderotherapy (wooden rollers), and deep tissue massage. Working on a much deeper level than traditional massage to identifying and treating true causes of cellulite and water retention rather than only treating the effects. These treatments use high and low pressure creating a vacuum to visibly reduce cellulite and water retention, instantly lift and sculpt without the need for any invasive procedures.

What to expect?

A full body session lasts around 75 minutes, we work on the stomach, waist, thighs and bum. Half body appointments are 45 minutes, and you can choose your area of focus, either stomach & waist or thighs & bum. You’ll be able to see change in the skin from the third session, however one-off treatments are great for before a special occasion, we recommend a full cycle of up to 10 sessions for optimum results.

How exactly does it work?

In the first stage of treatment, we are breaking down fat pockets, that stubborn adipose fat tissue that, no matter what we do, somehow feels like we can’t get rid of. By breaking those areas of fat pockets into smaller areas, we are making it easier for our body to access those fat cells (at this point, water retention has been released from this area via the lymphatic system) and use them as an energy source. This is where a healthy diet and exercise come in handy for us to use up all this extra energy.

The vacuum from the cupping allows the connective tissue – fascia to stretch and makes it more flexible, elastic, thus enabling the release of trapped toxins, greater hydration, and flexibility. This is making our muscles less prone to injuries, improves our mobility, and helps chronic pain management.

The second stage of the treatment includes manual lymphatic drainage, helping carry the broken-down fat cells into the body’s natural waste system (lymphatic system). Cellulite is dramatically reduced, and the skin look smooth and sculpted.

What is Lymphatic drainage?

The lymphatic system is responsible for moving all water retention and boost the function of the lymphatic nodes. Those nodes are on the front line when it comes to fighting against viruses, bacteria, and toxins. By clearing those nodes, we are boosting our immunity system and detoxifying our bodies, improving our overall health.

What will I feel like after my treatment?

You’ll feel energised afterward, this massage is designed to get the bodies waste system moving so we recommend to keep your body moving post treatment to aid the movement of the lymph around the body.
